Creator Programme Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions
"Programme" means the GDtours Creator & Referral Partner Programme. "Creator" means an approved participant. "Eligible Booking" means a completed, non-refunded GDtours tour booking attributable to the Creator's referral link within the attribution window. "Commission Rate" means the percentage applied to eligible revenue to calculate commission, as stated in the Creator's dashboard.
2. Commission Rate
Standard commission is 8% of eligible booking revenue (CAD). Enhanced rates of 8.5%, 9%, 9.5%, or 10% may be offered at GDtours' discretion based on performance and content quality. Commission rates are confirmed at account approval and displayed in the Creator dashboard. GDtours reserves the right to adjust rates with 30 days' written notice. The rate snapshotted at booking creation governs that booking's commission calculation.
3. Eligible Booking Definition
A booking is eligible when all of the following are true:
- The customer arrived via the Creator's unique referral link or referral code.
- The booking was made within 60 days of the customer's first referral click (the "Attribution Window").
- The tour has been completed (travel date has passed).
- No refund has been issued for the booking.
- The booking is not flagged as fraudulent or a self-referral.
- The Creator's account is in good standing (approved, not paused or suspended).
4. Attribution Window
The attribution window is 60 days from the customer's first click on a Creator's referral link. First-touch attribution applies — the first creator whose link the customer clicks within an active window is credited. GDtours may manually reassign attribution with documented reason and audit trail.
5. Refund Treatment
If a booking is fully refunded, the associated commission is reversed. If a booking is partially refunded, eligible revenue is reduced by the refunded amount before commission is calculated. Commission status is updated to "reversed" for cancelled or fully refunded bookings. No commission is payable for reversed bookings.
6. Prohibited Promotion Methods
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in commission reversal and account suspension:
- Unsolicited bulk email (spam).
- Paid search ads targeting GDtours branded keywords (e.g. "gdtours", "gdtours.co").
- Coupon or deal sites unless explicitly approved by GDtours in writing.
- False or misleading claims about GDtours tours, prices, or credentials.
- Creating pages that imply you are GDtours or an official GDtours representative.
- Cookie stuffing or any technical manipulation of referral attribution.
- Self-referral — booking through your own referral link.
7. Brand Usage
Creators may use GDtours name, approved logos, and approved descriptions as provided in the Creator Dashboard resource kits and Media Kit. Creators may not: modify logos, create look-alike sites, claim to be affiliated beyond the referral partnership, or use GDtours name in a social media handle or business name.
8. Disclosure Requirements
Creators must clearly disclose the referral relationship in any content that includes a GDtours referral link. This is both a Programme requirement and a legal requirement under FTC guidelines (USA), ASA rules (UK), and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions. Disclosure must be prominent — not buried in post descriptions.
9. Payment Timing
Commission becomes eligible approximately 30 days after the tour date. GDtours reviews and approves eligible commission manually. Payments are made after admin approval and upon reaching the minimum payment threshold. GDtours does not offer automated payouts. Payment method options are confirmed at payout time.
10. Suspension & Termination
GDtours may suspend or terminate a Creator account with immediate effect for: prohibited promotion methods, self-referral, fraudulent activity, brand damage, or breach of these terms. Pending commission for eligible completed bookings will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis upon termination.
11. Fraud & Abuse Detection
GDtours monitors for suspicious click patterns, including abnormally high click velocity, device-duplicated clicks, and self-referral. Flagged commissions are held pending review. GDtours reserves the right to reverse commissions found to result from fraudulent activity.
12. Self-Referral
Booking any GDtours tour through your own referral link is strictly prohibited. All self-referrals are automatically detected by comparing creator account email to booking email. Detected self-referrals result in immediate commission reversal and may result in account suspension.
13. Disputes
Any commission dispute must be submitted to partnerships@gdtours.co within 60 days of the commission status change. GDtours will investigate and respond within 14 business days. GDtours' determination is final for disputes under CAD$500. For larger disputes, both parties agree to good-faith mediation before pursuing legal remedies.
14. Changes to Terms
GDtours may update these terms at any time. Creators will be notified by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
